Public Procurement of Contracting Authorities or Entities in the

fields of Defence and Security (Amendment) Regulations, 2012

BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred by article 4 of the

Financial Administration and Audit Act, the Minister of Finance, the

Economy and Investment has made the following regulations:-

Reg. 1 Citation and commencemeny . — 106 tal-2012 – Regolamenti tal-2012 li jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar l-Gћoti ta’ Kuntratti Pubbliċi minn Awtoritajiet jew Entitajiet Kontraenti fl-oqsma tad-Difiża u s-Sigurtà Open official source

(1) The title of these regulations is the Public

Procurement of Contracting Authorities or Entities in the fields of

Defence and Security (Amendment) Regulations, 2012 and these

regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Public

Procurement of Contracting Authorities or Entities in the fields of

Defence and Security, hereinafter referred to as "the principal

regulations".

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force

on the 1st January, 2012.

Reg. 2 Amends regulation 9 of the principal regulations. — 106 tal-2012 – Regolamenti tal-2012 li jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar l-Gћoti ta’ Kuntratti Pubbliċi minn Awtoritajiet jew Entitajiet Kontraenti fl-oqsma tad-Difiża u s-Sigurtà Open official source

Sub-regulation (1) of regulation 9 of the principal

regulations shall be amended as follows

(a) in paragraph (a) thereof, for the words "EUR

125,000" there shall be substituted the words "EUR €130,000";

and

(b) in paragraph (b) thereof, for the words "EUR

€4,845,000" there shall be substituted the words "EUR

€5,000,000".
