Public Procurement of Entities operating in the Water, Energy,

Transport and Postal Services Sectors Regulations, 2012

BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred by article 4 of the

Financial Administration and Audit Act, the Minister of Finance, the

Economy and Investment has made the following regulations:-

Reg. 1 Citation and commencement. — 105 tal-2012 – Regolamenti tal-2012 li jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar l-Akkwisti Pubbliċi ta’ Entitajiet li joperaw fis-Settur tal-Ilma, l-Enerġija, it-Transport u s-Servizzi Postali Open official source

(1) The title of these regulations is the Public

Procurement of Entities operating in the Water, Energy, Transport and

Postal Services Sectors (Amendment) Regulations, 2012 and these

regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Public

Procurement of Entities operating in the Water, Energy, Transport and

Postal Services Sectors Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the

principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force

on the 1st January, 2012.

Reg. 2 Amends regulation 16 of the principal regulations. — 105 tal-2012 – Regolamenti tal-2012 li jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar l-Akkwisti Pubbliċi ta’ Entitajiet li joperaw fis-Settur tal-Ilma, l-Enerġija, it-Transport u s-Servizzi Postali Open official source

Regulation 16 of the principal regulations shall be

amended as follows

(a) in paragraph (a) thereof, for the words "€412,000"

there shall be substituted the words "€400,000"; and

(b) in paragraph (b) thereof, for the words "€5,150,000"

there shall be substituted the words "€5,000,000".

Reg. 3 Amends regulation 61 of the principal regulations. — 105 tal-2012 – Regolamenti tal-2012 li jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar l-Akkwisti Pubbliċi ta’ Entitajiet li joperaw fis-Settur tal-Ilma, l-Enerġija, it-Transport u s-Servizzi Postali Open official source

Regulation 61 of the principal regulations shall be

amended as follows

(a) in sub-regulation (1) thereof, for the words

"€412,000" there shall be substituted the words "€400,000"; and

(b) in sub-regulation (2) thereof, for the words

"€412,000" there shall be substituted the words "€400,000".
