Plant Protection Products (Amendment) Regulations, 2011

IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 4 and 5 of

the Pesticides Control Act, the Minister for Resources and Rural

Affairs, in consultation with the Prime Minister and with the

Minister for Health, the Elderly and Community Care, has made

the following regulations :-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Plant Protection

Products (Amendment) Regulations, 2011 and they shall be read

and construed as one with Plant Protection Products Regulations,

2009, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.

(2) The scope of these regulations is to transpose

Commission Directive 2010/70/EU and Commission Directive

2010/77/EU in so far as they amend Schedule I to the principal

regulations.

Schedule I to the principal regulations shall be

amended as follows: -

(i) in row 7, relating to Metsulfuron-methyl, in the

column “Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “30.6.2011”

there shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;

(ii) in row 9, relating to Triasulfuron, in the column

“Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31.7.2011” there

shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;

(iii) in row 10, relating to Esfenvalerate, in the column

“Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31.7.2011” there

shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;

(iv) in row 11, relating to Bentazone, in the column

“Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31.7.2011” there

shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;

(v) in row 12, relating to Lambda-cyhalothrin, in the

column “Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31.12.2011”

there shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;

(vi) in row 13, relating to Fenhexamid, in the column

“Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31 May 2011” there

shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;

(vii) in row 14, relating to Amitrole, in the column

“Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31.12.2011” there

shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;

(viii) in row 15, relating to Diquat, in the column

“Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31.12.2011” there

shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;

(ix) in row 16, relating to Pyridate, in the column

“Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31.12.2011” there

shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;

(x) in row 17, relating to Thiabendazole, in the column

“Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31.12.2011” there

shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;

(xi) in row 18, relating to Paecilomyces fumosoroseus,

in the column “Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “30

June 2011” there shall be substituted the words “31 December

(xii) in row 19, relating to DPX KE 459

(flupyrsulfuron-methyl), in the column “Expiration of

Inclusion”, for the words “30 June 2011” there shall be

substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;

(xiii) in row 20, relating to Acibenzolar-s-methyl,

in the column “Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31

October 2011” there shall be substituted the words “31

December 2015” ;

(xiv) in row 21, relating to Cyclanilide, in the column

“Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31 October 2011”

there shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;

(xv) in row 22, relating to Ferric phosphate, in the

column “Expiration of Inclusion”, for the words “31 October

2011” there shall be substituted the words “31 December

2015” ;

(xvi) in row 23, relating to Pymetrozine, in the column

there shall be substituted the words “31 December 2015” ;

(xvii) in row 24, relating to Pyraflufen-ethyl, in the

(xviii) in row 25, relating to Glyphosate, in the column
