Private Guards (Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 2011

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 24 of the Private

Guards and Local Wardens Act, the Minister responsible for police

has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Private Guards

(Amendment No. 2) Regulations, 2011 and these regulations shall be

read and construed as one with the Private Guards Regulations,

hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations”.

In sub-regulation (3) of regulation 11 of the principal

regulations, the words "for a period of six months following the entry

into force of this regulation.” shall be substituted by the words "until

the 31 st January 2012.”

In the proviso to sub-regulation (2) of regulation 12 of the

principal regulations, the words "for a period of six months following

the entry into force of this regulation.” shall be substituted by the

words "until the 31 st January 2012.”
