Local Councils Act (Amendment of Eleventh Schedule)

Regulations, 2011

IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 47A and 72 of

the Local Councils Act, the Prime Minister has made the following

regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Local Councils Act

(Amendment of Eleventh Schedule) Regulations, 2011,

and these regulations shall be read and construed as one with the

Eleventh Schedule to the Local Councils Act, hereinafter referred

to as “the Eleventh Schedule”.

The Eleventh Schedule shall be amended as follows

(a) for the words “Southern Region” in the heading of

the fourth column thereof, there shall be substituted the words

“South Eastern Region”; and

(b) for the words “South Eastern Region” in the heading

of the fifth column thereof, there shall be substituted the

words “Southern Region”.
