METROLOGY ACT

(CAP. 454)

Alcoholometers and Alcoholic Hydrometers (Revocation)

Regulations, 2011

IN exercise of the powers conferred by Section 19 (1)(b)

of the Metrology Act, the Prime Minister, on the advice of the

Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority, has made the

following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Alcoholometers

and Alcoholic Hydrometers (Revocation) Regulations, 2011.

(2) These regulations implement the requirements

of Directive 2011/17/EU of the European Parliament and of the

Council of 9 March 2011 repealing Council Directives 71/317/EEC,

71/347/EEC, 71/349/EEC, 74/148/EEC, 75/33/EEC, 76/765/EEC,

76/766/EEC and 86/217/EEC regarding metrology.

The Alcoholometers and Alcoholic Hydrometers

2002. Regulations, 2002 are hereby being revoked.
