Motor Vehicles (Weights, Dimensions and Equipment)

(Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 2011

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 54 of the

Traffic Regulation Ordinance and by article 43 of the Authority for

Transport in Malta Act, the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport

and Communications has, after consultation with the Authority for

Transport in Malta, made the following regulations

(1) The title of these regulations is the Motor Vehicles

(Weights, Dimensions and Equipment) (Amendment) (No. 2)

Regulations, 2011 and they shall be read and construed as one

with the Motor Vehicles (Weights, Dimensions and Equipment)

Regulations, 2003, hereinafter referred to as “the principal

regulations”.

These regulations shall come into force on the 3rd

July, 2011.

In the Arrangement of Regulations, the words from “Part

VII” to “67 – 72” shall be deleted.

In regulation 2 of the principal regulations, the definition

“scheduled bus service” shall be deleted.

Part VII of the principal regulations shall be deleted.
