Waste Management (End of Life Vehicles) (Amendment)

Regulations, 2011

BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred by articles 2, 61, 64,

and 66 the Environment and Development Planning Act, the Prime

Minister has made the following regulations:-

Reg. 1 Title. — 244 tal-2011- Regolamenti tal-2011 li Jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar l-Immaniġġar ta’ Skart (Vetturi fi Tmiem Żmienhom) Open official source

The title of these regulations is the Waste Management

(End of Life Vehicles) (Amendment) Regulations, 2011, and they

shall be read and construed as one with the Waste Management

(End of Life Vehicles) Regulations, 2004, hereinafter referred to as

“the principal regulations”.

These regulations bring into effect part of the provisions

(Article 4) of Directive 2008/112/EC of the European Parliament

and of the Council Directive 2000/53/EC of the European

Parliament and of the Council in order to adapt them to Regulation

(EC) No. 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of

substances and mixtures.

Reg. 3 Deletes Schedule 1 to the principal regulations. — 244 tal-2011- Regolamenti tal-2011 li Jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar l-Immaniġġar ta’ Skart (Vetturi fi Tmiem Żmienhom) Open official source

Schedule 1 to the principal regulations shall be deleted.

Reg. 4 Renumbers Schedule 2 to Schedule 5 to the principal regulations. — 244 tal-2011- Regolamenti tal-2011 li Jemendaw ir-Regolamenti dwar l-Immaniġġar ta’ Skart (Vetturi fi Tmiem Żmienhom) Open official source

Schedule 2 to Schedule 5 shall be renumbered as

Schedule 1 to Schedule 4 respectively.
