Deposit of Waste and Rubble (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations,
IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 4(f), 61(2)
(k) and 62 of the Environment and Development Planning Act, the
Prime Minister and the Minister for Resources and Rural Affairs
have made the following regulations:-
(1) The title of these regulations is the Deposit of Waste
and Rubble (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations, 2011 and they shall
be read and construed as one with the Deposit of Waste and Rubble
(Fees) Regulations, 1997, hereinafter referred to as “the principal
regulations”.
(2) These regulations shall come into force on 1st June
2011.
In regulation 10 of the principal regulations, for the
words “a fee as may be directed from time to time by” there shall
be substituted the words “the fee indicated in Schedule D to”.
Immediately after Schedule C to the principal regulations
there shall be added the following new table

Materials for which incineration is obligatory upon instruction of
competent authorities
Non-hazardous waste directed for destruction
Non-hazardous waste suitable for landfilling but which is directed for
thermal treatment by the government entity responsible for waste
The above rates are exclusive of VAT and may be adjusted
periodically to reflect changes to the Retail Price Index.” .
Immediately after Schedule C to the principal regulations,
as amended, there shall be added the following new Schedule
