Health Care Professions Act (Amendment of Fourth Schedule)

Regulations, 2011

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 51 of the

Health Care Professions Act, the Minister for Health, the Elderly

and Community Care has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Health Care

Professions Act (Amendment of Fourth Schedule) Regulations,

2011, and they shall be read and construed as one with the Fourth

Schedule to the Health Care Professions Act, hereinafter referred to

as “the Fourth Schedule”.

Part II of the Fourth Schedule shall be amended as

follows

(a) in the classification “ - Medical Practitioners” there

shall be added the following associations:-

“Maltese Cardiac Society

Maltese Association of Dermatologists and

Venereologists”; and

(b) immediately after the classification “ - Nurses

and Midwives” there shall be added the following new

classification

“ - Professions Complementary to Medicine

Maltese Association of Occupational Therapists

Malta Association of Physiotherapists

Society of Medical Radiographers”.
