Conservation of Wild Birds (Culling of Birds) Notice, 2010

IN accordance with the provisions of article 61 of the

Environment and Development Planning Act and of regulations

9(1)(b) and 24 of the Conservation of Wild Birds Regulations, 2006,

(Legal Notice 79 of 2006) and being satisfied that there exists no

other satisfactory solution, the Prime Minister hereby authorizes the

culling birds of the species Sturnus vulgaris within the perimeter of

the area indicated as item (9) of Schedule V of the afore-mentioned

Regulations for the period from publication of this Notice to the 8th

day of March 2013 (inclusive) in the interests of air safety under

those conditions as established by the Director.
