Designation of Place as Mental Nursing Home Order, 2010

IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 34 and 50 of

the Mental Health Act, the Minister for Health, the Elderly and

Community Care is hereby designating the “St Joseph Male Ward

8, St Joseph Female Ward 7, John Paul II Female Ward I and

John Paul II Male Ward 2” at St. Vincent De Paule Residence as a

mental nursing home for the purposes of the definition in subarticle

(1) of article 2 of the Mental Health Act and declaring that the

provisions of the same Act shall mutatis mutandis apply to the said

wards.
