MEDICAL AND KINDRED PROFESSIONS ORDINANCE

(CAP. 31)

Drugs Control (Amendment)(No. 2) Regulations, 2010

BY virtue of the power conferred by article 40A of the

Medical Kindred Professions Ordinance, the Minister for Health,

the Elderly and Community Care has made the following

regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Drugs Control

(Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 2010 and they shall be read

and construed as one with the Drugs Control Regulations, 1985

hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.

In the First Schedule to the principal regulations,

immediately after the International or other nonproprietary name

or other trivial name “MDMA, Tenamfetamine” and the Chemical

names “dl-3,4methylenedioxy-N, α-dimethyl-phenylethylamine ”

there shall be added the following

International or other nonproprietary

Chemical name

name or other trivial name

2-methylamino-1-(4-methylphenyl)

“mephedrone (4-methylmethcathinone)

propan-1-one”.
