PREVENTION OF FINANCIAL MARKETS ABUSE ACT

(CAP. 476)

Prevention of Financial Markets Abuse (Disclosure and

Notification) (Amendment) Regulations, 2010

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 25 of the

Prevention of Financial Markets Abuse Act, the Minister of Finance,

the Economy and Investment, acting on the advice of the Malta

Financial Services Authority, has made the following regulations

The title of these regulations is the Prevention of Financial Citation.

Markets Abuse (Disclosure and Notification) (Amendment)

Regulations, 2010, and they shall be read and construed as one with

the Prevention of Financial Markets Abuse (Disclosure and L.N.108 of

Notification) Regulations, 2005, hereinafter referred to as “the 2005.

principal regulations”.

In regulation 8 of the principal regulations, for sub- Amends

regulation 8 of

regulation (3) thereof there shall be substituted the following

regulations.

“(3)

The competent authority shall, immediately upon

receipt, make available on its website, information concerning

transactions referred to in sub-regulation (1) hereof.”.
