Energy Efficiency Requirements for Household Electric

Refrigerators, Freezers and Combinations thereof (Implementing

Measures) (Revocation) Regulations, 2010

IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 38 to 40 of the

Product Safety Act, the Minister of Finance, the Economy and

Investment, on the advice of the Malta Standards Authority, has made

the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Energy Efficiency Citation, scope

Requirements for Household Electric Refrigerators, Freezers and and

commencement.

Combinations thereof (Implementing Measures) (Revocation)

Regulations, 2010.

These regulations implement the requirements of

Commission Regulation (EC) No 643/2009 of 22 July 2009

implementing Directive 2005/32/EC of the European Parliament and

of the Council with regard to ecodesign requirements for household

refrigerating appliances.

(3) These regulations shall come into force on the 1 st July,

2010.

The Energy Efficiency Requirements for Household Revokes

Electric Refrigerators, Freezers and Combinations thereof S.L. 427.18.

(Implementing Measures) Regulations, are hereby revoked.
