Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 5) Order, 2009

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the

Housing Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the

following order:-

The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer

of Assets) (No. 5) Order, 2009.

The property described in article 4 of this order is hereby

specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority

Act.

The property specified in article 2 of this order shall be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the

aforesaid article with effect from the 6th November, 2009.

The property referred to in article 2 of this order is the

following, that is to say

(1) A plot of land known as Plot 77, having an area

of 129.53 square metres, in Triq il-Gladjoli, San Ġwann

Neighbourhood II, San Ġwann, subject to a temporary

emphyteusis for a period of 150 years commencing from

the 20th February, 1969. The said plot is bounded on the

North-East by property granted by perpetual emphyteusis,

on the South-East by Triq il-Gladjoli and on the South-West

by property transferred to the Housing Authority, is edged

red and marked P. 77 on plan L.D. 128/80/20 and formerly

formed part of Tenement 513281. (HAP 7/2009).

(2) A plot of land at Ħal Farruġ, limits of Luqa, having

an area of 6,750 square metres, consisting of Blocks J, K,

L, M and N and including 113 apartments, 107 garages and

three shops. The plot is bounded on the North-East by Triq

l-Isturnell, on the South-West by Triq ir-Russett Abjad and on

the South-East by Triq Tal-Vitorja, registered with the Estate

Management Department as bearing Tenement E20688, and

which is edged in red on P.D. 2008_308. (HAM 46/98 vol 2).

(3) A plot of land consisting of a housing estate at

Mġarr, including 22 maisonettes, 43 apartments, 127 garages

and a substation, said apartments being divided into six blocks

named A to F, having an area of 4,580 square metres, bounded

on the North-West by Triq l-Amaroż and Triq l-Aruna, on the

East by Triq il-Karamelli and on the South by Triq il-Ġnejna,

registered with the Estate Management Department as bearing

Tenement E20636 and which is edged in red on P.D. 2009_70.

(4) A plot of land known as plot 39 in Triq il-Fraxxnu,

Żabbar, granted on perpetual emphyteusis to Mr Jason

Bianco, on which is built residential property numbered 39,

Triq il-Fraxxnu, Żabbar, which plot is edged red and marked

P. 39 on plan L.D. 37/81/45 and registered in the Government

Property Division records as Tenement 41710. (HAP 2/2009).

(5) A plot of land known as Plot 117 and Site A in

Triq iċ-Ċikas, Bulebel iż-Żgħir, Żabbar Home Ownership

Scheme, Żabbar, subject to a temporary emphyteusis for

a period of 150 years commencing from the 11th February,

1977. The said Plot and Site are bounded on the North by Triq

il-Ġiżimina, on the East by government property and on the

West by Triq iċ-Ċikas, are edged red and marked Plot 117 and

Site A on plan L.D. 37/81/39 and the Plot formerly formed

part of Tenement 50771 1st portion. (HAP 1/2009).

(6) Flat numbered 2, Door 2, Block 1, Housing Estate,

Triq il-Gżira , Gżira (Tenement No. 75225 – RTB 23/2008).

(7) Flat numbered 7, Block 1, Triq Sciortino , Żebbuġ

(Tenement No. 64308 – RTB 24/2008).
