III, IV and V, St Julians (Designated Special Areas)

Order, 2009

IN VIRTUE of the powers conferred by articles 2 and 8 of

the Immovable Property (Acquisition by Non-Residents) Act, the

Minister of Finance, the Economy and Investment has made the

following order:-

The title of this Order is the Pender Place and Mercury

House Site, Extensions I, II, III, IV and V, St. Julian’s (Designated

Special Areas) Order, 2009.

Pender Place and Mercury House Site, Extensions I, Designation of

II, III, IV and V, St. Julians consisting of immovable properties Special Areas.

situated in the areas bordered in red in the Land Registry Plans

annexed to this Order, are hereby designated as a Designated

Special Area for the purposes of the Immovable Property

(Acquisition by Non-Residents) Act.

Pender Place and Mercury House Zone, Extensions I, II,

III, IV and V, St. Julians shall be added to the List of Scheduled

Zones in the First Schedule to the Immovable Property (Acquisition

by Non-Residents) Act.
