ADMINISTRATIVE JUSTICE ACT

(CAP. 490)

Administrative Justice Act

(Extension of Jurisdiction of the Administrative Tribunal)

(Media and the Arts Matters) Regulations, 2009

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 21 of the

Administrative Justice Act, hereinafter referred to as "the Act", the

Minister for Justice and Home Affairs has made the following

regulations:-

(1)

The title of these regulations is the Administrative Title and

Justice Act (Extension of Jurisdiction of the Administrative Review commencement.

Tribunal) (Media and the Arts Matters) Regulations, 2009.

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 15th

November, 2009.

.1. Regulation 47 shall be amended

Immediately after subregulation (6)

thereof there shall be added the following

new subregulations

"(7)

Any person who feels

aggrieved by the result of the second

examination shall have a right to apply

to the Administrative Review Tribunal

established by article 5 of the

Administrative Justice Act within ten

days from when the decision about the

second examination is given to

DEMAND the review of the said

decision.

The

provisions

the.Administrative Justice Act, in so

far as they apply to.the Administrative

Review.Tribunal, shall apply to any

proceedings before the.said Tribunal

and the words "public administration"

in the said enactment

shall be

construed as a reference to the

Commissioner of Police.

(9)

Any court proceedings

pending on the 1 st October, 2009,

before any court from a decision of the

Board of Film and Stage Classification

shall continue to be heard by that court

without prejudice to regulation 48.".

2. Regulation 47A shall be deleted.

these regulations shall have effect subject to the amendments law
