Administrative Review Tribunal (Establishment of Panels)

(Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 2009

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 16 of the

Administrative Justice Act, hereinafter referred to as "the Act", the

Minister for Justice and Home Affairs has made the following

regulations:-

(1)

The title of these regulations is the Administrative

Review Tribunal (Establishment of Panels) (Amendment) (No. 2)

Regulations, 2009 and these regulations shall be read and construed

as one with the Administrative Review Tribunal (Establishment of

Panels) Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal

regulations".

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 15th

November, 2009.

The words "General Jurisdiction Panel." in regulation 2 of

the principal regulations shall be substituted by the words

"Media and the Arts Panel

General Jurisdiction Panel.".

Regulation 3 of the principal regulations shall be amended

as follows:-

(a)

sub-regulation (6) thereof shall be renumbered as

sub-regulation (7); and

(b)

immediately after sub-regulation (5) thereof, there

shall be added the following sub-regulation

"(6) The assistants appointed on the Media and the

Arts Panel shall be competent to deal with disputes under

the Cinema and Stage Regulations.".
