Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 4) Order, 2009

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the

Housing Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the

following order:-

The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer

of Assets) (No. 4) Order, 2009.

The property described in article 4 of this order is hereby

specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority

Act.

The property specified in article 2 of this order shall be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the

aforesaid article with effect from the 7th August, 2009.

The property referred to in article 2 of this order is the

following, that is to say

(1) A plot of land known as Plot 58, having an area

of 248 square metres, at Triq Salvatore Zarb corner with

Triq Caravaggio, Ħal-Għargħur, bounded on the West and

South-West by Triq Caravaggio and on the South-East by

Triq Salvatore Zarb, registered with the Estate Management

Department as bearing Tenement No. X07342, and which is

edged in red on L.D. 2009_140. (HAM 167/82).

(2) A plot of land known as Plot 103, at Triq

l-Istefanotis, San Ġwann, bounded on all sides by property

belonging to the Government, or more correct boundaries,

granted on temporary emphyteusis to Mr. Charles Yeomans

as per Deed no. 13/70 dated 17th January, 1970 in the acts

of Notary A. Grech, bearing Tenement No. 65550 and which

is edged in red and marked P. 103 on L.D. 128/80/19. (HAP

3/2009).

(3) Plots of land indicated as Plots 58 to 68, having a

total area of 2,048 square metres, at Triq il-Kaħwiela, Triq

De Hosa and Triq l-Istefanotis, Santa Lucia, bounded on

the North-West by Triq il-Kaħwiela, North-East by Triq De

Hosa and South-East by Triq l-Istefanotis, forming part of

Government land, which plots were allocated under the Home

Ownership Scheme, registered with the Estate Management

Department as bearing Tenement No. E20721 and which are

edged in red on P.D. 11/82/113. (HAM 178/82).

(4) Unit 9 in a block known as “Clock Tower Block

T1” and car space 4 in Tignè Point, Sliema.

Unit 9 is situated at Levels 2, 3 and 4 has an area of

8 square metres at Level 2, 138 square metres at Level

3 and 134 square metres at roof level as shown on plans

P.D. 194_2004_3_A, P.D. 194_2004_4_A and P.D.

194_2004_5_A. It is accessible from an external door

situated in a common area at Level 2 shown washed in yellow

on P.D. 194_2004_3A and overlies Government property and

is bounded on the North-East, North-West and South-East by

Government property.

Car space 4 is situated in Level 0 as shown on P.D.

194_2004_7 and is bounded on the North-West, South-East

and South-West by Government Property.

The whole block known as Clock Tower Block T1 is

bounded on all sides by the property of MIDI plc and Unit

9 and car space 4 were erected on Government property

formerly part of ES 16355 and bearing Tenement No. 79446

with the Estate Management Department. (HA 580/99).

(5) A plot of land consisting of the site of front gardens

in addition to Blocks H and I, at Tas-Sgħajtar, Naxxar,

bounded on the North-East by Triq il-Qoton, on the West

by Triq Ta’ Mezzi and on the South-East by Triq is-Sogħda,

edged red on plan P.D. 2008_375_1 and registered with the

Estate Management Department as Tenement No. E20709.

(6) House numbered 101, Triq il-Belt Valletta, Paola

(Tenement No. 63914A – RTB 18/2005).
