LOCAL COUNCILS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2009

(ACT NO.XVI OF 2009)

Commencement Notice

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 1(2) of the

Local Councils Amendment Act, the Prime Minister has established

the 1st November, 2009 as the date when the provisions of articles

2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18(1) to (4), 19(a)

with respect to paragraphs (n), (p), (q), (r), (s), (t), (u) and (v),

19(b) to (d), 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33,

34, 35, 36, 37, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49 and 50 of

the said Act shall come into force.
