Conservation of Wild Birds Regulations, 2009

IN accordance with the provisions of regulation 24 and of

paragraph (b) of sub-regulation (1) of regulation 9 of the Conservation

of Wild Birds Regulations, 2006 (Legal Notice 79 of 2006) and

being satisfied that there exist no other satisfactory solution, the

Prime Minister hereby authorizes the culling birds of the species

Sturnus vulgaris within the perimeter of the area indicated as item

(9) of Schedule V of the mentioned Regulations for the period from

publication of this Notice to the 25th day of April 2010 (inclusive)

in the interests of air safety under those conditions as established by

the Director.
