Eco-Contribution Act (Amendment of First Schedule) (No. 3)

Regulations, 2009

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 13 (c) of the

Eco-Contribution Act, the Minister for Resources and Rural Affairs

in concurrence with the Minister of Finance, the Economy and

Investment, has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Eco-Contribution Act

(Amendment of First Schedule) (No. 3) Regulations, 2009, and

they shall be read and construed as one with the First Schedule to

the Eco-Contribution Act, hereinafter in these regulations referred

to as “the First Schedule”.

In the First Schedule, under the heading “Appliances

used for washing and cooking” under H.S. Code Number 7321,

immediately after the words “but excluding charcoal barbecue

tables” there shall be inserted the words “and gas fired barbecues

with lava or other similar solid heat conducting material as a

heating source”.
