Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 3) Order, 2009

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the

Housing Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the

following order:-

The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer

of Assets) (No. 3) Order, 2009.

The property described in article 4 of this order is hereby

specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority

Act.

The property specified in article 2 of this order shall be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the

aforesaid article with effect from the 14th May, 2009.

The property referred to in article 2 of this order is the

following, that is to say

(1) A plot of land indicated as Plot B, at Mqabba

Government Housing Estate, Mqabba, having an area of

795.5 square metres, bounded on the North and North West by

property belonging to Government and on the East and West

by public road, forming part of Government land acquired

in virtue of deeds No. 337/88 and 111/94 dated 23rd May

1984 and 4th May 1994 in the records of Notary V. Miceli

and which is edged in green and marked B on L.D. 89/86/4.

(2) A plot of land numbered Plot 147, Triq R. Caruana

Dingli, San Ġwann, bounded on all sides by property

belonging to Government or more correct boundaries, granted

on perpetual emphyteusis to Mr. A. Debattista as per contract

number 126/74 dated 27th March, 1974 in the acts of Notary

A. Grech and correctory deed by contract number 107/78G

dated 10th May, 1978 in the acts of Notary A. Grech, bearing

Tenement No. 40911 and which is edged in red and marked

P.147 on L.D. 128/80/23. (HAP 6/2008).

(3) A plot of land numbered Plot 45, Triq il-Ġiebja

Rumana, Żejtun, bounded on all sides by property belonging

to Government or more correct boundaries, granted on

perpetual emphyteusis to Mr. Paul Spiteri as per contract

dated 6th August, 1980 in the acts of Notary G. Grima,

bearing Tenement No. 40983 and which is edged in red and

marked P. 45 on L.D. 7/80/84. (HAP 4/2008).

(4) Flat number 3, Government Building, Triq L-14

ta’ Diċembru 1945, Fgura (Tenement No. 68030 – RTB

34/2008).

(5) Maisonette numbered 122 (formerly 32), Triq San

Filippu, Għaxaq (Tenement No. 66014 – RTB 33/2007).

(6) House numbered 2, known as “Peprina”, Block

J, Vjal in-Naspli, San Ġwann (Tenement No. 67341 – HA

125/99).

(7) Flat number 1, Block A, Door number 2, Triq Sir

Ugo Mifsud, Lija (Tenement No. 67853 – RTB 34/2007).

(8) Flat number 3, Block 14A, Triq Fontanier, Qormi

(Tenement No. 66427 – RTB 26/2008).

(9) Flat number 1 at 188E, Triq Sant’Orsola, Valletta

(Tenement No. 62944 – RTB 47/2008).
