Eco-Contribution Act (Amendment of Fourth Schedule)

Regulations, 2009

IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 9A (2) and

13 (c) of the Eco-Contribution Act, the Minister for Resources

and Rural Affairs in concurrence with the Minister of Finance, the

Economy and Investment, has made the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Eco-Contribution

Act (Amendment of Fourth Schedule) Regulations, 2009, and they

shall be read and construed as one with the Fourth Schedule to the

Eco-Contribution Act, hereinafter in these regulations referred to as

“the Schedule”.

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come

into force on the 1st March, 2009.

In the Schedule, for the words “two centimetres” in sub-

regulation (c) of article 1 thereof, there shall be substituted the

words “one centimetre”.
