ADMINISTRATIVE JUSTICE ACT

(CAP. 490)

Application of the Principles of Good Administrative Behaviour to

Administrative Tribunals Regulations, 2008

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 4 of the

Administrative Justice Act, the Minister for Justice and Home Affairs

has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is Application of the

Principles of Good Administrative Behaviour to Administrative

Tribunals Regulations, 2008.

Part A – Primary Legislation

First Column

Enactment

Extent of Amendment

Marriage Legacies Act,

The following provision shall be added

after article 3 thereof

"Observance of the principles of good

administrative behaviour. Cap. 490.

The legislation listed in the First Column of the Schedule

shall have effect subject to the amendments specified in the Second

Column thereof, which amendments shall come into force on the 1 st

January, 2009.

The said Commission shall

respect and apply the principles of good

administrative behaviour laid down in

article 3 of the Administrative Justice

Act.".

Lepers Ordinance,

The following provision shall be added

after article 2(8) thereof

"Observance of the principles of good

administrative behaviour. Cap. 490.

administrative behaviour. Cap. 490.

9A. The Tribunal shall respect and

apply

the

principles

of

good

administrative behaviour laid down in

article 3 of the Administrative Justice

Act.".

The following provision shall be added

after article 29 thereof

"Observance of the principles of good

administrative behaviour. Cap. 325.

29A. The Appeals Board constituted

under article 28 of the Industrial

Development Act shall respect and

apply

the

principles

administrative behaviour laid down in

article 3 of the Administrative Justice

Act.".

Wine Act,

The following provision shall be added

after article 4 thereof

"Observance of the principles of good

administrative behaviour. Cap. 490.

4A. The Appeals Board shall respect and

apply

the

principles

of

good

administrative behaviour laid down in

article 3 of the Administrative Justice

Act.".

Cooperatives Board,

The following provision shall be added

after article 3 thereof

"Observance of the principles of good

administrative behaviour. Cap. 490.

3A. The Board, when exercising its

functions under article 17, shall respect

and apply the principles of good

administrative behaviour laid down in

article 3 of the Administrative Justice

Act.".

27A. The Board of Reference referred

to in regulation 27 shall respect and

apply the principles of good

administrative behaviour laid down in

article 3 of the Administrative Justice

Act.".
