CODE OF ORGANIZATION AND CIVIL PROCEDURE

(CAP. 12)

Civil Procedure (Regulation of Registries, Archives and

Functions of Director General (Courts) and Other Court

Executive Officers) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 2008

IN virtue of the powers conferred by articles 109 and 1009B of

the Code of Organization and Civil Procedure, the Minister

responsible for Justice, has made the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Civil Procedure

(Regulation of Registries, Archives and Functions of Director

General (Courts) and Other Court Executive Officers) (Amendment)

(No. 2) Regulations, 2008 and they shall be read and construed as one

with the Civil Procedure (Regulation of Registries, Archives and

Functions of Director General (Courts) and Other Court Executive

Officers) Regulations, hereinafter in these regulations referred to as

"the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 11th

November, 2008.

Regulation 10 of the principal regulations shall be

amended as follows

(a)

sub-regulations (2) and (3) shall be deleted;

(b) sub-regulations (4) shall be renumbered as sub-

regulation (2); and

(c)

the words "sub-regulations (1), (2) and (3)," in sub-

regulation (2) as renumbered shall be substituted by the words

"sub-regulation (1),".
