Local Councils (Delegation of Enforcement)

(Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 2008

IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 33(1), 36(6) and

72 of the Local Councils Act, the Prime Minister has made the following

order>–

The title of this order is the Local Councils (Delegation of

Enforcement) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 2008 and this order shall

be read and construed as one with the Local Councils (Delegation of

Enforcement) Order, 2000 hereinafter referred to as “the principal order”.

The Second Schedule to the principal order shall be amended

as follows>–

(a) in Part 1 thereof, in the second column under the heading

“Effective date of delegation” for the words “To be established”

with regards to Birzebbugia Local Council there shall be

substituted the words “4th November, 2008”< and

(b) in Part II thereof, the paragraph with the words “Joint

Committee for Local Council of Qrendi,” to the words “13 th May

2005” shall be deleted.
