Commencement Notice of the Environmental Impact Assessment

Regulations, 2007

BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred by article 60 of the

Development Planning Act and by articles 9 and 10 of the Environment

Protection Act, and in terms of regulation 1(2) of the Environmental

Impact Assessment Regulations, 2007, as published by Legal Notice

114 of 2007, the Prime Minister, on the recommendation of the Malta

Environment and Planning Authority, has established the 7 th October,

2008 as the date when Part VI of the said regulations shall come into

force.
