Petitions (Local Tribunals) (Amendment) Regulations, 2008

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 13 of the

Commissioners for Justice Act, the Minister for Justice and Home

Affairs, has made the following regulations>–

The title of these regulations is the Petitions (Local Tribunals)

(Amendment) Regulations, 2008, and they shall be read and construed

as one with the Petitions (Local Tribunals) Regulations, 2005 hereinafter

referred to as “the principal regulations”.

In regulation 2 of the principal regulations in the definition

“the Minister” for the words “responsible for justice” there shall be

substituted the words “responsible for Local Government”.

In regulation 3 (1) of the principal regulations the words

“responsible for justice” shall be deleted.
