Port (Passenger Service Charge) (Amendment) Regulations, 2008

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 52 of the Malta

Maritime Authority Act, the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and

Communications in consultation with the Malta Maritime Authority,

has made the following regulations>-

Reg. 1 Title and commencement. — Port (Passenger Service Charge) (Amendment) Regulations, 2008 Open official source

(1) The title of these regulations is the Port (Passenger

Service Charge) (Amendment) Regulations, 2008 and they shall be read

and construed as one with the Port (Passenger Service Charge)

Regulations 2006, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 1 st

November, 2008.

Reg. 2 Amends regulation 2 of the principal regulations. — Port (Passenger Service Charge) (Amendment) Regulations, 2008 Open official source

In regulation 2 of the principal regulations, the definition

“departing passenger” shall be deleted.

Regulation 3 of the principal regulations shall be deleted.
