TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDINANCE

(CAP.65)

Motor Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) (Amendment)

Regulations, 2008

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 33 of the Malta

Transport Authority Act and by article 54 of the Traffic Regulation

Ordinance, the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and

Communications, after consultation with the Malta Transport Authority,

has made the following regulations>-

The title of these regulations is the Motor Vehicles

(Registration and Licensing) (Amendment) Regulations, 2008 and they

shall be read and construed as one with the Motor Vehicles (Registration

and Licensing) Regulations, 2004 hereinafter referred to as “the principal

regulations”.

In regulation 16 of the principal regulations, the “without a

special licence for the purpose which shall not be granted” shall be

deleted.
