HOUSING AUTHORITY ACT

Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 3) Order, 2008

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the Housing

Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the following order>-

The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer of

Assets) (No. 3) Order, 2008.

The property described in article 4 of this order is hereby

specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act.

The property specified in article 2 of this order shall be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the article

aforesaid with effect from the 28 th March, 2008.

The property referred to in article 2 of this order is the

following, that is to say>

(1) Plots of land known as Plots 36 to 41 in Triq Ta’ Xlejli

corner with Triq l-G[elejjel, Home Ownership Scheme Phase II,

Gudja, having a total area of about 1,703.40 square metres, bounded

on all sides by property belonging to the Government or more

correct boundaries, and which are edged in red on P.D. 23_86_6

(HAM 159#81).

(2) A plot of land known as Plot No. 37 in Triq il-{annewija,

Santa Luçia, bounded on all sides by property belonging to the

Government, or more correct boundaries, granted on temporary

emphyteusis to Ms. Carmen Zammit, Mr. John Zammit and Mr.

Andrew Paul Zammit as per contract dated 4 th December, 1974 in

the acts of Notary Dr. A. Grech, bearing Tenement No. 65799 and

which is edged in red and marked “Plot 37” on L.D.11#82#66. (HAP

11#2007).

(3) A plot of land known as 63 Plot 2 in Triq il-Mit[na l-

:dida, Mellie[a, bounded on all sides by property belonging to

the Government, or more correct boundaries, granted on

emphyteusis to Ms. Maryanne Caruana as per contract dated 29 th

April 1970 in the acts of Notary Dr. A. Grech, bearing Tenement

No. 65321 on which are built premises 63, “Valfago” Triq il-Mit[na

l-:dida Mellie[a, and which is edged in red and marked “P.2” on

L.D.383#91#5. (HAP 14#2007).

(4) A plot of land known as Plot No. 26 Triq il-Mit[na l-

:dida, Mellie[a, bounded on all sides by property belonging to

Government, or more correct boundaries, granted on temporary

emphyteusis to Mr. Carmel Attard as per contract dated 3 rd July

1969 in the acts of Notary Dr. A. Grech, bearing Tenement No.

65345 on which are built premises 25 “Charmar” (Plot No. 26),

Triq il-Mit[na l-:dida, Mellie[a, and which is edged in red and

marked “P.26” on L.D. 383#91#6. (HAP 2#2007).

(5) A plot of land registered as Tenement No. E20058 in

the Government Property Division’s records and having a total

area of about 2,636 square metres, at Ta’ Pennellu, Mellie[a,

bounded on all sides by property belonging to Government, or

more correct boundaries, and which is edged in red on

P.D.2007_913. (HAM 23#2002 vol 2).

(6) Plots of land known as Plots 55 to 58 in Triq l-Arçipriet

E. Mifsud and Plots 68, 69 in Triq l-Iskultur Fabri, }urrieq, having

a total area of 1,368 metre squared, bounded on all sides by property

belonging to the Government or its successors in title, or more

correct boundaries, bearing Acquisition Number 15303 and which

are edged in red on P.D. 109_95_2 (HAM 135#86).

(7) Two plots of land known as E and F in Tal-Far, Victoria,

Gozo bounded on all sides by property belonging to the

Government or its successors in title, or more correct boundaries,

registered in the Government Property Division’s records as Plots

1 to 7 and 23 to 27 and which are edged in red and marked E and

F with a total area of 1244 metre squared and 872 metre squared

respectively on P.D.2007_241_A (HAM 860#88 Vol 2).

(8) Dwelling numbered 216, Triq ix-Xatt, Gzira (Tenement

No. 63322 – RTB 65#2004).

(9) Flat number 5 Block IX, Triq il-:nien, Qormi (Tenement

No. 64224 – RTB 29#2007).

(10) Flat number 5, Block 2, Triq l-G[eriexem, Rabat, Malta
