Commencement Notice of the Limitation of Emission of Volatile

Organic Compounds (Paints, Varnishes and Vehicle Refinishing

Products) Regulations, 2006

BY virtue of the powers conferred by article 9 of the Environment

Protection Act, and by article 38 of the Product Safety Act and in terms

of regulation 1(2) of the Limitation of Emission of Volatile Organic

Compounds (Paints, Varnishes and Vehicle Refinishing Products)

Regulations, 2006, as published by Legal Notice 78 of 2006, the Prime

Minister has established the 7th of April, 2008 as the date when the

said regulations shall come into force.
