IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 3 of the Euro

Adoption Act, 2006, the Minister responsible for Finance has made

the following Order

(1) The title of this Order is the Adaptation of Laws Citation and

commencement.

2. The Schedules to the Lotteries and Other Games Act, Cap. 438, shall be

(2) Paragraph 6(1) to the Second Schedule thereof shall be

substituted with the following

"A tombola (bingo) hall licence shall include a condition

requiring the licensee to take out, prior to the commencement of

operations, a bank guarantee, to be issued by a bank or by a credit or

financial institution acceptable to the Authority, in favour of the

Authority and on its own behalf and on behalf of the Government, to the

amount of twenty-three thousand and two hundred and ninety-three

euros and seventy-three cents (23,293.73), for securing"

(3) Paragraph 4(5)(b) to the Third Schedule thereof shall be

(Custodian of Assets) Regulations (S.L. 403.02) there shall be substituted the
