Transfer of Listed Securities (Amendment) Regulations, 2007

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 49 of the Financial

Markets Act, the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, acting on the

advice of the Malta Financial Services Authority as the competent

authority for the purposes of the Act, has made the following regulations>

(1) The title of these regulations is the Transfer of Listed

Securities (Amendment) Regulations, 2007 and they shall be read and

construed as one with the Transfer of Listed Securities Regulations,

2004, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.

(2) These regulations shall come into force on the 1st

November, 2007.

In regulation 2 of the principal regulations, and wherever they

occur in the principal regulations, for the words “recognized investment

exchange” there shall be substituted the words “regulated market”.

In regulation 3 of the principal regulations, for the words

“Off-Exchange Trading Regulations, 2004”, there shall be substituted

the words “Financial Markets Act (Off-Market Deals) Regulations,

2007”.
