Local Councils (Delegation of Enforcement)

(Amendment) Order, 2007

IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 33(1), 36(6) and

72 of the Local Councils Act, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister

for Justice and Home Affairs has made the following order>–

The title of this order is the Local Councils (Delegation of

Enforcement) (Amendment) Order, 2007, and this order shall be read

and construed as one with the Local Councils (Delegation of

Enforcement) Order, 2000 hereinafter referred to as “the principal order”.

In the First Schedule to the principal order for the words “Motor

Vehicle (Wearing of Seat Belts) Regulations, 2003 (L.N. 252 of 2003),

there shall be substituted the words>

“Motor Vehicles (Wearing of Seat Belts) Regulations, 2007

(L.N. 200 of 2007)”.
