Maximum Residue Levels of Pesticides in Produce of Animal

Origin (Amendment) (No. 3) Regulations, 2007

IN exercise of the powers conferred by articles 4 and 5 of the

Pesticides Control Act, the Minister for Rural Affairs and the

Environment has made the following regulations>–

(1) The title of these regulations is Maximum Residue Levels Title and scope.

of Pesticides in Produce of Animal Origin (Amendment) (No. 3)

Regulations, 2007, and they shall be read and construed as one with the

Maximum Residue Levels of Pesticides in Produce of Animal Origin

Regulations, 2005, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”. L.N. 117 of 2005.

(2) The scope of these regulations is to transpose

Commission Directive 2007#27#EC, Commission Directive 2007#28#EC

and Commission Directive 2006#62#EC amending Council Directive

86#363#EC.

(1) In Schedule II of the principal regulations, the lines for Amends Schedule II

indoxacarb, MCPA, MCPB, tolylfluanid shall be added by Schedule I to

regulations.
