Remote Gaming (Amendment) Regulations, 2007

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 78 of the Lotteries

and Other Games Act, the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance has

made the following regulations>–

The title of these regulations is the Remote Gaming

(Amendment) Regulations, 2007 and they shall be read and construed

as one with the Remote Gaming Regulations, 2004, hereinafter referred

to as “the principal regulations”.

Regulation 4 of the principal regulations shall be removed

and substituted to read as follows>

‘4. To qualify for a licence, an applicant must be a body

corporate established in Malta in terms of the Companies Act (Cap.

386).

Sub-Regulation 1 of Regulation 52 of the principal regulations

shall be substituted to read as follows>

‘52. (1) The licensee shall, within one hundred and eighty

days from the end of its financial year, file with the Authority an

audited set of financial statements prepared in accordance with

international financial reporting standards.
