Transparency of Financial Relations between the State and

Public Undertakings (Amendment) Regulations, 2007

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 4 of the Financial

Administration and Audit Act, the Prime Minister and Minister of

Finance has made the following regulations>-

The title of these regulations is the Transparency of Financial

Relations between the State and Public Undertakings (Amendment)

Regulations, 2007 and they shall be read and construed as one with

Transparency of Financial Relations between the State and Public

Undertakings Regulations, 2005, hereinafter referred to as “the principal

regulations”.

In regulation 2 of the principal regulations, in the definition

“the Directive” for the words “and Directive 2000#52#EEC of 26 July,

2000” there shall be substituted the words “, Directive 2000#52#EEC of

26 July, 2000 and Directive 2005#81#EC of 28 November, 2005”.

In sub regulation (1) of regulation 5 of the principal regulations,

for the words from “and receives State aid” to the words “support or

compensation” there shall be substituted the words “and receives public

service compensation in any form whatsoever”.
