Conservation of Wild Birds

(Declaration of the periods for Hunting and Taking)

Regulations, 2007

BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred by article 9 of the

Environment Protection Act, and in terms of the provisions of regulation

10(6)(t) of the Conservation of Wild Birds’ Regulations, 2006, the

Minister for Rural Affairs and the Environment has made the following

regulations >–

The title of these regulations is the Conservation of Wild Birds Citation.

(b) the hunting of birds at sea shall be permitted between

the 1 st October 2007 and the 31 st January 2008<

(c) taking of finches shall be allowed between the 1 st October

2007 and the 31 st January 2008<

(d) taking of Turtle Dove and Quail between the 1 st

September 2007 and the 31 st January 2008< and

(e) taking of Golden Plover and Song Thrush between the
