Companies Act (The Prospectus) (Amendment) Regulations,

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 425 of the Companies

Act, the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance has made the following

regulations>

The title of these regulations is the Companies Act (The Citation.

Prospectus) (Amendment) Regulations, 2007 and they shall be read

and construed as one with the Companies Act (The Prospectus)

Regulations, 2005, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”. L.N. 389 of 2005.

For sub-regulation (2) of regulation 5 of the principal Amendment

regulation 5 of the

regulations, there shall be substituted the following>

principal

regulations.

“(2) Where Malta is the home Member State, the Registrar

shall have the power to exercise control over compliance with the

requirements of this regulation relating to advertising activity

involving an offer of securities to the public.”.
