Extension of Applicability to Service with Government

(Contracts of Service for a Fixed Term) Regulations, 2007

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 48 of the

Employment and Industrial Relations Act, the Prime Minister has made

the following regulations –

(1) The title of these regulations is the Extension of

Applicability to Service with Government (Contracts of Service for a

Fixed Term) Regulations, 2007.

These regulations shall come into force on the 15 th June

2007.

Article 34 (1) and (3) of the Employment and Industrial

Relations Act and any regulations or orders made thereunder, except

the provisions of regulation 7 (3) of the Contracts of Service for a Fixed

Term Regulations, 2007, shall be applicable to service with the

Government.

The Extension of Applicability to Service with Government

(Contracts of Service for a Fixed Term) Regulations, 2007 are hereby

being revoked.
