PRODUCT SAFETY ACT

The Cosmetic Products (Amendment) Regulations, 2007

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 39 of the Product

Safety Act, the Minister for Competitiveness and Communications has,

on the advice of the Malta Standards Authority, made the following

regulations>–

The title of these regulations is the Cosmetic Products Citation.

(Amendment) Regulations, 2007, and they shall be read and construed

as one with the Cosmetic Products Regulations, hereinafter referred to L.N. 143 of 2002.

“419. Category 1 material and Category 2 material as

defined in Articles 4 and 5 respectively of Regulation (EC) No

1774#2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council, and

ingredients derived therefrom.”.
