SOCIAL SECURITY (AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) ACT, 2006

(ACT NO. XIX of 2006)

Notice of coming into force

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 1(2) of the Social

Security (Amendment) (No. 2) Act, 2006, the Minister responsible for

social policy has established>

(a) the 1st of January 2007 as the date when articles 2 (a), 3, 7,

14, 15, 16 (d) paragraph (5), 17 and 18 of the said Act shall come into

force<

(b) the 6th January 2007 as the date when article 5 of the said

Act shall come into force< and

(c) the 1st January 2011 as the date when articles 2 (b), 4, 6, 8, 9,

10, 11, 12, 13, 16 (a) to (c) and 16 (d) paragraph (4) of the said Act shall

come into force.
