Council for Nurses and Midwives (Elections) (Amendment)

Regulations, 2006

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 51(1)(f) of the Health

Care Profession Act, the Minister of Health, the Elderly and Community

Care, has made the following regulations>–

The title of these regulations is the Council for Nurses and

Midwives (Elections) (Amendment), Regulations, 2006 and they shall

be read and construed as one with the Nurses and Midwives (Elections)

Regulations, 2004, hereinafter referred to as “the principal regulations”.

In sub-regulation (2) of regulation 6 of the principal

regulations, for the words “within three days after” there shall be

substituted the words “within fifteen working days after”.
