Maltapost p.l.c. Licence (Modification) (Amendment)

Regulations, 2006

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subarticles (1) and (2) of

article 80 and by article 81 of the Postal Services Act, the Minister for

Competitiveness and Communications, after consultation with the Malta

Communications Authority, has made the following regulations>

(1) The title of these regulations is the Maltapost p.l.c.

Licence (Modification) (Amendment) Regulations, 2006, and they shall

be read and construed as one with the Maltapost p.l.c. Licence

(Modification) Regulations, 2004, hereinafter referred to as “the

principal regulations”.

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into

force as of the 19th September, 2006.

The Appendix to the Schedule to the principal regulations shall

be amended as follows>

(a) for the words “Maltapost p.l.c. Universal Service Product

words “Maltapost p.l.c. Universal Service Product Price List as at

September 2006”< and

(b) in section 2 thereof, in the classification “INLAND

MAIL”, for the item “Letters Up to 50g”, for the words “7c” there

shall be substituted the words “8c”.
