Correction of Laws Order, 2006 (Cap. 356)

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 7(3) of the Statute

Law Revision Act, 1980, the Law Commission has made the

following correction

In article 63 of the Development Planning Act, add the

following subarticle immediately after subarticle (3) thereof

"(4) Any offence committed against any of the

provisions referred to in subarticle (1) shall continue to be

offences against those provisions and proceedings in respect

thereof may be commenced or continued as if the said

provisions were still in force, without prejudice to the

application, in respect of any acts or omissions constituting such

offence, of the provisions of article 51(2)." * .

The Minister for Justice and Home Affairs has appointed

the 1st February, 2006 as the date on which the correction made by

the Law Commission and published by this Legal Notice shall come

into force.

*This subarticle originally formed part of proviso (ii) to article 63 which was

omitted by the Law Commission and is now being reintroduced by the same

Commission.
