Malta Transport Authority Act

(Amendment of Schedule) Order, 2006

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 5(2) of the Malta

Transport Authority Act, the Minister for Urban Development and Roads

has, after consultation with the Malta Transport Authority, made the

following Order>-

The title of this Order is the Malta Transport Authority Act

(Amendment of Schedule) Order, 2006 and the Order shall be read and

construed as one with the Schedule to the Malta Transport Authority

Act, hereinafter referred to as “the Schedule”.

The Schedule shall be amended as follows>

(a) in paragraph 2, for the words “Roads Directorate” there

shall be substituted the words “Network Infrastructure Directorate”

and, immediately after the words “maintenance of roads” there

shall be added the words “, to maximise the efficiency and safety

of road traffic,”<

(b) paragraph 3 shall be deleted< and

(c) paragraphs 4, 5 and 6 shall be renumbered as paragraphs

3, 4 and 5 respectively.
