Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 3) Order, 2006

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the Housing

Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the following order>-

The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer of

Assets) (No. 3) Order, 2006.

The property described in article 4 of this order is hereby

specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act.

The property specified in article 2 of this order shall be

transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the article

aforesaid with effect from the 16 th June, 2006.

The property referred to in article 2 of this order is the

following, that is to say>

(1) A block of building consisting of eight maisonettes in

Tal-Fuklar Housing Estate, Attard, the whole block being bounded

on the North-East by Triq il-Minfa[, on the South-East by :nien

il-Kunsill Lokali, and on the North-West by Triq il-Gradilja.

Maisonette numbered 13 is accessible from a public street

off Triq il-Gradilja< maisonettes numbered 14 to 19 are accessible

separately from Triq il-Gradilja< and maisonette numbered 20 is

accessible separately from Triq il-Minfa[< said maisonettes

numbered 13, 16, 17 and 20 are also accessible individually from

the back from a separate entrance at :nien il-Kunsill Lokali< and

the front gardens of the mentioned maisonettes are also to be

included in the transfer.

The block is shown edged red on P.D. 2006_232. (HAM

21#98).

(2) A block of building consisting of eighteen maisonettes

and eighteen underlying garages at Triq De Hosa and Triq Katerina

Vitale in Santa Lucia, the whole block being bounded on the North

and on the North-East by Triq Katerina Vitale, and on the South-

West by Triq De Hosa.

Maisonettes numbered 1 to 8 are accessible separately from

Triq Katerina Vitale, and maisonettes numbered 9 to 18 are

accessible separately from Triq De Hosa.

Garages numbered 1 to 8 are accessible separately from Triq

Katerina Vitale, and garages numbered 9 to 18 are accessible

separately from Triq De Hosa< garages numbered 1 to 6 underlie

maisonettes numbered 1 to 6, garages numbered 7 and 8 underlie

maisonette numbered 8, and garages numbered 9 to 18 underlie

maisonettes numbered 9 to 18.

The block is shown edged red on P.D. 11_82_100. (HAM

(3) A group of eight blocks of building consisting of 56

garages, 56 flats, two shops, one store and one substation at Triq

il-Qawra and Triq il-Frejgatina in St Paul’s Bay, the whole block

being bounded on the North-West by private property, on the South-

East by Triq il-Qawra and on the South-West by Triq il-Frejgatina.

The blocks of flats are numbered Blocks C1 to C6, D1 and

D2. Blocks C1 to C3 are all accessible from Triq il-Frejgatina, and

Blocks C4 to C6, D1 and D2 are accessible from a common area,

an open space, which is accessible from Triq il-Qawra. Blocks C4

and D2 consist of four flats each, numbered 1 to 4, which are all

accessible from a common entrance bearing Block C4 and D2. All

other blocks consist of eight flats each, numbered 1 to 8, which

are all accessible from a common entrance bearing their respective

block number. All common areas of the flats are also accessible

from the basement.

Garages numbered 1 to 43 and the store at Block C, which

underlie the flats in Blocks C1 to C6, are accessible from a common

entrance in Triq il-Frejgatina. Garages numbered 1 to 13 at Block

D, which underlie the flats in Blocks D1 and D2, are accessible

from a common entrance in Triq il-Qawra.

Shops numbered 1 and 2 and the substation are located at

Block C and are accessible from a separate entrance in Triq il-

Qawra.

The whole block is shown edged red on plan marked P.D.

(4) A plot of land having an area of approximately 164

square metres, known as Plot 59, Triq Napuljun Caruana Dingli,

and forming part of Ta’ Pennellu Government Housing Estate at

Mellie[a, bounded on the North-East by a public passage, on the

South-West by Triq Napuljun Caruana Dingli and on the South-

East by Government property, on which are built premises bearing

number 92, Triq Napuljun Caruana Dingli, Mellie[a, and which is

edged red and marked P.59 on L.D. 383#91#7. (Tenement No.

65702 – HAP 4#2006).

(5) A plot of land having an area of approximately 130

square metres, known as Plot 2, Independence Avenue, and forming

part of San Silvestru Government Housing Estate at Mosta,

bounded on the North by Independence Avenue, on the East and

on the West by property transferred to the Housing Authority, on

which are built premises named “Camelia”, Independence Avenue,

Mosta, and which is edged red and marked P.2 on L.D. 43#81#3.

(6) A plot of land having an area of approximately 136

square metres, known as Plot 7, and Site E, Triq il-Fossa tal-Qam[,

and forming part of Ta’ Ganza Government Housing Estate at

}ejtun, bounded on the North by a public passage, on the South by

Triq il-Fossa tal-Qam[ and on the East by Government property,

on which are built premises bearing number 24, Triq il-Fossa tal-

Qam[, }ejtun, and which is edged red and marked P.7 and ‘E’ on

L.D. 7#80#82. (Tenement No. 66033 – HAP 9#2005).

(7) A plot of land having an area of approximately 148.6

square metres, known as Plot 14, Triq Forn il-:ir, and forming

part of the Government Housing Estate at Victoria (Rabat), Gozo,

bounded on the North-East and on the North-West by property

transferred to the Housing Authority and on the South-West by

Triq Forn il-:ir, on which are built premises bearing number 14,

Triq Forn il-:ir, Victoria (Rabat), Gozo, and which is edged red

and marked P. 14 on L.D. 138#91#2. (Tenement No. Z41321 –

HAP 2#2006).

(8) Flat number 1, Block B5, Triq Mahatma Gandhi,
